Samsung slams Apple’s iPhone 14 innovations in new ad

A few days before Apple's "Far Out" event on September 7, Samsung attacked the upcoming iPhone 14 series in its Buckle Up ad. We've seen Samsung follow a habit of mocking Apple's iPhone lineup, prompting buyers to buy Samsung flagships instead of Apple's iPhone lineup. In its latest ad, Samsung did the same. The video begins with the narrator saying, "Fasten your seatbelt for Apple's latest launch, because you're entering a world where your head will turn, just not in your direction."

Next, the ad highlights features like the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4's clamshell design and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra's 108MP camera with Moon Mode, arguing that "this innovation won't be coming to an iPhone near you anytime soon, it's already in It's in the Galaxy." Interestingly, Samsung held down Apple for features it lacked (like a 3.5mm jack, charger, etc.) before giving it up on its own.

This year's iPhone lineup may say goodbye to the Mini version and bangs, and may welcome the return of the Plus model. Apple's iPhone 14 series is expected to be priced lower than the iPhone 13 series, with the iPhone 14 starting at $749, followed by the iPhone 14 Plus/Max at $849, the iPhone 14 Pro at $1,049 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max at $1,149.

Production of the next Apple iPhone series in India will start two months or six weeks after the domestic iPhones are available. The iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to offer faster charging and better ultra-wide-angle shots in low-light conditions.

Apple could also redesign the camera app to use the extra screen real estate, then convert it into a notch. The camera and microphone indicators may be located in cutouts in the iPhone 14 series display. In addition to the iPhone 14 series, we'll also see the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE, and new AirPods Pro and iPad models.
