Apple rolls out firmware updates for iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 Beta 1

May 19 - 2 days after the official launch of iOS 15.5, Apple today released the first developer beta version of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6.

From the developer feedback, iOS 15.6 is still focused on fixing bugs and improving some missing features, or preparing for the next upcoming iOS 16.

It is worth noting that previously on May 17, Apple pushed out the iOS 15.5 update, which upgraded the baseband to version 1.61.00 to improve the iPhone's signal performance, and fixed the problem of the home app automation program not accurately identifying location information in the new version.

In addition, the 2022 Apple Developer Conference (WWDC2022) will be held via online from June 6 to 10, U.S. local time (June 7 to 11, Beijing time), when the next-generation operating system, including iOS16, will be launched.

Some foreign media reports say that the first public beta version of iOS16 will be released in July this year, a little later than the usual time frame. The first public beta version will be the third developer beta version at the same time.
